A ground-breaking professional education initiative designed to provide America’s real estate professionals with training and tools to expand their business as well as home ownership opportunities for more Americans. The AHWD Certification relays to the public that those certified have been professionally trained in and are sensitive to a wide range of cultural issues inviting a wider volume of business from a greater variety of cultures. Participants will learn about the people who make up the local market, their values, customs, real estate needs, and expectations of real estate professionals. Specifically, the course helps participants develop skills in cross-cultural communication and strategic business planning.

Texas Residential Property Manager Certification (TRPM)

As a follow-up to the Texas Residential Leasing Specialist, gain knowledge on current business issues impacting property management, how to mediate tenant and owner relations and the ins and outs of the TAR Property Management Agreement. This certification program consists of 6 courses over 3 days.

TACS2: Commercial Real Estate Property Development

Commercial Real Estate Property Development. Topics include commercial leasing, property development, and appraisal valuation methods.

The Texas Accredited Commercial Specialist certification teaches you how to represent clients, perform market analyses, negotiate, and understand property development and management. The TACS will also equip you with skills in marketing and business development. This certification shows that you’ve pursued an intensive course of study in commercial real estate and that you’re dedicated to providing the highest level of service to clients.

Short Sales and Foreclosures (SFR) Certification

For many real estate professionals, short sales and foreclosures are the new “traditional” real estate transaction. Knowing how to help sellers maneuver the complexities of short sales, as well as help buyers, pursue short sale and foreclosure opportunities are not merely good skills to have in today’s market-they are critical. And while short sales and foreclosures are not for the faint of heart, agents with the proper tools and training can use these specialty areas to build their business for the long term.

Historic Home Specialist: Preservation in Action Tour (HHS)

The City of San Antonio Office of Historic Preservation (OHP) highlights the importance of promoting and protecting the unique historic structures, archaeological sites, and design features of San Antonio. REALTORS® learn regulations, processes, and programs to better understand historic properties and accurately guide clients when buying or selling. This certification is not recognized by NAR.
